Journeying Through The Buddhist Course Pathway

A few members have asked, “what order should I take the courses in the Buddhist Course Pathway?”  There’s no right or wrong way to do the Buddhist Course Pathway.  This is your path and your journey.  You should move through the courses in a way that fits your personal journey and needs.

The pillars - Origins, Understand, and Living - are all mutually reinforcing and provide organization to the courses.  Origins (with the green background) relates to beginnings of Buddhist beliefs.  The Understanding courses (shown with an orange background) focus more on the teachings.  Lastly, the Living pillar (show in blue) is about following a Buddhist way of life.  We encourage you to find a place to start that resonates with you and go from there.

The Three Pillars

You can always jump back to an earlier course or move ahead if needed or desired.  Some members find re-watching lectures to be a great way to create a solid foundation of Buddhist knowledge.

If you like to bounce between two or three topics, that’s perfectly fine too.  One of the awesome things about the Everyday Buddhist platform is it remembers your place in each course, so you’ll know exactly where you left off.

How you choose to move through the Buddhist Course Pathway is entirely up to you.  As long as you have a subscription to Everyday Buddhist, you will have unlimited access to all the courses and the system will keep your progress. Please share in the comments how you’re journeying through the Buddhist Course Pathway.
